Amy E. (Morgan) Tackett

Amy E. Tackett (nee Morgan), 34, of Sheffield Lake, passed away Sunday May 28, 2017 at home, with her family by her side, following a brave battle with cancer.  She was born March 10, 1983 in Middleburg Heights.  She resided in Sheffield Lake for the past 10 years.  Amy was a 2002 graduate of Berea High School.  She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Sheffield Lake.  Her greatest joy in life was living for her children.  Amy will always be remembered as a devoted and loving mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend.  She is survived by; her two daughters, Hannah and Leah; her parents, Elizabeth “Beth” and Al Morgan of Sheffield Lake; two brothers, Shannon Morgan of Lorain and Michael Morgan (Teri) of Cleveland; her paternal grandmother, Hazel Morgan of Brook Park; and by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  She was preceded in death by; her maternal grandparents and her paternal grandfather.  The family will receive friends on Thursday June 1, 2017 from 4 to 7pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville.  The funeral service will be Friday June 2, 2017 at 11am at First Baptist Church of Sheffield Lake, 633 Harris Road in Sheffield Lake.  Pastor Thomas Hicks will officiate.  Burial will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon.
