Bernard E. Rassat

Bernard E. “Bernie” Rassat, 92, of North Ridgeville, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017.  Mr. Rassat was a WWII Army veteran, having served with the 661st Field Artillery Batalion.  He was a long time Sherwin-Williams employee, retiring in 1987.  He enjoyed sports and train watching.  Beloved husband of the late Lois (nee Reusch); loving father of Susan R. Bloch (Raymond) and Barb Tripp (David);  dear grandfather of Jacqueline Riggle (Brian), Aaron Tripp (Heidi) and Stacey Glover (Chris); dear great grandfather of Ayden, Liam, Adalynn and Charlotte; cherished uncle of David Charlton (Kathleen) and Lee Charlton and great uncle of Beth Charlton. A service will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, 44273.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.  LISTON FUNERAL HOME, North Ridgeville, is serving the family.
