John E Buckey

John Buckey, 76, of North Ridgeville, passed away at home on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, following a short illness.  Mr. Buckey was born July 8, 1941 in Cleveland and resided in North Ridgeville for most of his adult life.  He owned and operated Buckey’s Construction in North Ridgeville and retired after thirty years.  He enjoyed boating and spending time at the Lake.  Although not currently active, Mr. Buckey was a Mason for many years.  He is survived by his wife Nancy (nee Dusek); one son, John Buckey of Florida; two step-sons, Eric boomer (Melissa) of Florida and Scott Boomer (Mayu) of California; one grandson, Alistair; four sisters, Marianne, Paula, Judy and Ruth; one brother, Joseph and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Keli and one step-daughter, Danielle.  A memorial service will take place on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 6:30pm at Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd. (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville.  Pastor Dave Swartz will officiate.  Memorial contributions may be made to VNA of Ohio.
