Margaret R. "Peggy" (Hartman) Artin

Margaret R. “Peggy” Artin (nee Hartman), of Avon Lake, left this world on January 15, 2018.  She leaves behind; her wonderful husband and partner of 37 years, Allen Retay; her daughter, Andrea Artin Sain; and her treasured granddaughters, Valerie Sain and Raquel Sain.  Tragically, she was pre-deceased by her beloved 18 years old son, Daniel Artin in 1985.  Peggy forged many friendships during her years as a real estate agent in Bay Village.  She enjoyed observing woodland creatures and was involved in the preservation of wildlife.  Many loving friends were by her side during her illness.  The expert and caring chemotherapy nurses and her superb doctor, Timothy Spiro, were a great comfort.  To all her caring and compassionate “Angel Sisters”, she sends her loving gratitude.  Services were private and a memorial will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, APL of Lorain County or to the Salvation Army, would be appreciated. Liston Funeral Home, North Ridgeville, is serving the family.
