William H. Daniels

William H. “Bill” Daniels, 68, of Elyria, passed away Tuesday November 10, 2015 at his residence following a long illness.  He was born July 7, 1947 in Hardy, KY.  Mr. Daniels had been a resident of Elyria since 1973.  He was employed as a heavy equipment operator by the Ohio Operators Engineers in Cleveland from 1979 until 1994 and retired in 1994.  Mr. Daniels was a member of Cathedral of Life Church in North Ridgeville and he regularly visited North Eaton Church of God.  Mr. Daniels loved going to church.  He also enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing, movies, traveling to Tennessee and spending time with his grandchildren.  He is survived by; his wife of 38 years, Pansy (nee Amonett); two sons, David (Pam) of Roseville MI and USAF Master Sgt. William “BJ” Jr., (Melissa) of Canfield;  three daughters, Kimberly Pearson of Roseville, MI, Elizabeth “Angel” Powell of Elyria and Melissa Jackson of Elyria;  eight grandchildren, Chelsea Daniels, Madison Daniels, Destiny Pearson, Haley Pearson, Alissa Tarrant, Deven Daniels, Abigail Daniels and Makayla Daniels;  one brother, Emmett O. Daniels (Shirley) of Newport, MI;  and by extended family members, Sheryl Daniels, Tommy Jackson Jr., and Kristyn Daniels-Squires.  The family will receive friends on Friday November 13, 2015 from 4 to 8pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville.  Funeral Services will be Saturday November 14, 2015 at 10:00am at Cathedral of Life Church, 5375 Jaycox Rd., North Ridgeville.  Pastor Mike Payne will officiate.  Burial will be at Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria.
