Mary Dustin Obituary

It is with great sadness that we must announce the passing of Mary Margaret Dustin. Mary was born in Cleveland Ohio and lived a happy and full life with her one true love Miles Dustin. She raised three happy and grateful children. She had 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Mary passed away without pain early on Monday morning, February 26th, 2024.

Mary was a gifted teacher with a love for music. She taught piano lessons at her home, skillfully playing her grand piano—a cherished gift from her husband—with beautiful precision. She also followed in her father’s footsteps as a singer in her church choir. Although she had many other interests, such as sewing and quilting, she never stopped learning, growing and sharing her musical talent.

She was the brightest most true example of God's love to her family. She adored animals and loved caring for her dog Spunky. She especially loved her “grand-doggers”, the dogs of her children. She would feed any animal that was lucky enough to stray into her backyard and donated to the Friendship Animal Protective League

Mary Dustin, daughter of Hayden and Irma Spong is survived by her husband of 70 years and their three children, Lynn Bohne, Tom Dustin and Ken Dustin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friendship Animal Protective League
