Betty L Webb

Betty L. Webb (nee Sisco), 85, of Elyria, passed away in her home, with her family by her side, on Tuesday July 16, 2019. She was born on September 17, 1933 in Rockhouse, Kentucky. Betty was a long-time resident of Elyria. She was an active member of the Elyria Foursquare Gospel Church and in the past she sang alto in different gospel groups. Betty also enjoyed sewing, reading, and going to garage sales where she would buy “treasures” that she would give new life to. She cared for her family and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Betty is survived by; five children, Garnette Dutton (Tony), Mary Coleman (Earl), Joseph Webb (Carol), Harlin Webb (Angela), and Mark Webb (Maria); 17 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and by her sister, Faye Comer (Rad). She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Rev. Harlin Webb in 1978; her daughter, Faith Sue Robinson; her grandson, Geoffery Lankey; her parents, Melvin and Garnet Sisco; and by 11 brothers and sisters. The family welcomes friends to join them Saturday July 20, 2019 from 12 to 3pm with the service beginning at 3pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville. Pastor Willie Bias of Wellington Freewill Baptist Church will officiate. A graveside service will be at Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria on Wednesday July 24, 2019 at 12pm.
