Beverly J. (Mahon) Moore

Beverly J. Moore (nee Mahon), 80, of North Ridgeville, passed away Sunday July 29, 2018 at Amherst Specialty Hospital in Amherst following a brief illness.  She was born March 5, 1938 in Zanesville, Ohio.  Mrs. Moore had been a resident of North Ridgeville for over 50 years.  She retired from the housekeeping department at The Lutheran Home in Westlake in 2010.  She had previously worked in the housekeeping department at Elyria Memorial Hospital for over 25 years.  Beverly’s family meant everything to her and her greatest joy was to spend time with them.  She is survived by;  her daughter, Debbie Dial (Michael) of Elyria; her son, Bernard (Allen) Moore (Nancy) of Eaton Township; 10 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; one sister, Doris Starlin of Congo, Ohio; and by her daughter-in-law, Shirley Moore of North Ridgeville.  She was preceded in death by; her husband, Brenard A. Moore in 1996; her son, Richard “Rick” Moore in 1986; a sister, Juanita Erwin; and by a brother, Denzil Mahon.  The family will receive friends on Thursday August 2, 2018 from 5 to 8pm and on Friday August 3, 2018 from 2pm until the time of the funeral service at 4pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville. Rev. Georgia Frazier will officiate the service.  Burial will be private at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon.
