Donald G. "Gordy" Skinner

Donald G. “Gordy” Skinner, 66, 0f Columbia Station, passed away unexpectedly following a stroke on April 25, 2017 at Southwest General Medical Center in Middleburg Heights.  He was born January 22, 1951 in Nova Scotia, Canada.  He had resided in Columbia Station for 22 years.  Mr. Skinner was a 1970 graduate of Strongsville High School.  He was a veteran and served in the US Army.  He was employed as the Service Manager at Volks Wagon of Streetsboro.  Mr. Skinner was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Columbia Station.  He enjoyed playing golf.  He is survived by; his wife, Linda (nee Toth); one daughter, Brianna Skinner; two sons, Christopher Skinner and Rich Holland; and by one brother, Errol Skinner.  He was preceded in death by; his parents, Margaret and Evertt Skinner; by a sister, Marlene; and by a brother, Dale.  The family will receive friends on Saturday April 29, 2017 from 9:30am until the time of a Memorial Mass at 11:30am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 25801 Royalton Rd., Columbia Station.  Liston Funeral Home, North Ridgeville, is serving the family.
