Doris A. (Halcomb) Blanton

Doris A. Blanton (nee Halcomb), 87, of Cleveland, went home to be with the Lord on Monday February 12, 2018. She was a member of Abram Creek Baptist Church in Brook Park. Doris was retired from the Otto Graham Coast Guard Exchange in Cleveland where she worked for over 33 years. Beloved Mother of Robin Schuessler (Todd), Myra Blanton and the Late Galah Mitchell; Loving Grandmother of Kristen, Jennifer, Keith and Bret; Loving Great-Grandmother of Logan, Gianni, Elijah and soon to be Lilliannah; Dear Sister of Helen Gunterman, Bill Halcomb and the Late Malcomb Halcomb, Malva Fields, Alma Pratt and Emery Halcomb; Beloved Daughter of the Late Hezekiah and Docia (nee Cornette) Halcomb.  The family will receive friends on Thursday February 15, 2018 from 4:30pm until the time of the funeral service at 6:30pm at Abram Creek Baptist Church, 18664 Sheldon Rd. in Brook Park.  A graveside service for the family will be Friday at West Park Cemetery, Cleveland.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Abram Creek Baptist Church Fellowship Fund.  LISTON FUNERAL HOME, North Ridgeville, is serving the family.
