James W. Doud

James W. Doud, 50, a long-time resident of North Ridgeville, passed away with his loving family by his side at St. Johns Medical center in Westlake, Ohio on Sunday November 24, 2019. He was born on April 13, 1969 in Galeton, Pennsylvania and was a 1987 graduate of Galeton Area High School. He was a member of the Heat & Frost Insulators Union Local  #3 for 10 years and worked as an estimator/salesmen for the J.C. Sharp Corp. James was an avid fan of all the Cleveland sports teams. He is survived by: two children, Collin, Talia, and their mother, Jessica Doud (nee Flamish) of North Ridgeville; one brother, Thomas Dake (Mary Lou) of North Ridgeville; one sister, Sharon Kleva (Jerry) of Sewell, New Jersey; and by Several Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. James was preceded in death by his parents, Durland and Martha Doud; his grandmother Julia Beiling; and his Uncle James Beiling. The family welcomes friends to join them on Tuesday December 10, 2019 from 5pm to 6:15pm with a Memorial Service starting at 6:15pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville. Rev. Mark Petras will officiate. There will also be a Service on Saturday December 14, 2019 starting at 2pm with a memorial luncheon to follow at Pine Creek Valley United Methodist Church, 761 US-6, Gaines, PA 16921. Pastor Nate will officiate. Interment will be at the Knowlton Cemetery in Tioga County, PA. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to VFW post #9871 in North Ridgeville, or to Knowlton Cemetery, Tioga Co. PA.
