James “Tony” A. Dolby, 51, of North Ridgeville, passed away following a brief illness Saturday October 19, 2019 at Regency Hospital West in Middleburg Heights. He was born December 18, 1967 in Lawton, Oklahoma. James spent most of his life in Farrell, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Farrell High School in 1986 and received a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Youngstown State University. James worked as an accountant for various automotive and pharmaceutical manufacturing companies. He enjoyed: traveling, golfing, and fishing. James was also an excellent cook; he received an award and his recipe was published in Taste of Home magazine. James is survived by: his wife on 19 years, Christine Dolby (née Markota); his mother, Sandra Dolby; his brother, Christopher Dolby (Jessica); and by four nieces and nephews, Sabrina Frank, Zoe Frank, Brady Frank, and Leo Frank. He was preceded in death by his father, George Dolby Jr. The family welcomes friends to join them for a memorial luncheon at 2p.m. with a time of remembrance at 3p.m. on Saturday October 26, at Avalon Inn located at 9519 E. Market St., Warren, Ohio, 44484. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions to made to the United Way charity.
