Joseph L. "Joe" Glass

Joseph L. Glass, 55, of North Ridgeville, passed away Sunday November 26, 2017 at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake following a short illness.  He was born in Cleveland on August 9, 1962 and was a graduate of Lakewood High School.  He had been a North Ridgeville resident for 18 years.  He was formerly employed at Leimkuehler Prosthetics in Cleveland.  Joe enjoyed fishing, his 1964 Cyclone, cars in general, and music.  He was an avid musician, played the guitar and wrote music.  He is survived by; his long-time partner, Cheryl Hruby of North Ridgeville; his mother, Mary Anne Osbeck (nee Ondov) of Sacramento, CA; two brothers, Don Glass of Pomeroy, OH and Doug Glass of Laurelville, OH; and by several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.  He was preceded in death by; his father, Don L. Glass; and by his sister, Janice Chambers.  The family will receive friends on Saturday December 2, 2017 from 10am until the time of a memorial service at 11:45am at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville.  Rev. Jeffrey M. Phail will officiate the memorial service.  Burial will be at Fields Cemetery in North Ridgeville.
