Kimberly “Kim” Carter (nee Parker), 57, of Lorain, passed away suddenly at her home on February 15, 2017. She was born June 23, 1959 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio and was a life-long resident of Lorain. Kim was a 1978 graduate of Lorain High School. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Bethel Chapel in Lorain. Kim enjoyed crocheting, writing poetry and drawing. She loved her family and she was a very selfless and helpful person. She was the caregiver for her uncle Roger. She is survived by; one sister, Jamey Worthen of Lorain; two nieces, Misty Selmon (Michael) and Rachel Wagner, both of Lorain; one nephew, Tevin Wagner of Lorain; two great nieces, Selena and Amelia; one great nephew, KeShawn; her uncle, Roger Parker of Lorain; and by many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Constance “Connie” Hunter (nee Parker) in 2010. The family will receive friends on Thursday February 23, 2017 from 11:00am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 Noon at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville. Pastor Lorri Bandagski from Bethel Chapel in Lorain, will officiate. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the funeral home.
