Linda Lee (Gibson) Morton

Linda Lee Morton (nee Gibson), 60, of North Ridgeville, formerly of Columbia Station, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Thursday, January 18, 2018.  Linda was born June 24, 1957 in Cleveland and lived in Columbia Station her entire life until two years ago.  She liked helping people and loved animals.  Her current dog companion was Bruiser.  Linda enjoyed being by the water and going to the islands. She loved cooking, taking care of her kids and spending time with her grandkids.  Sunday dinner with her family was a one way she expressed her love and care for them.  She is survived by three daughters, Melissa Simon (Matthew), Melinda Heidecker (Joe Borczuch) and Elizabeth DeSarle; one son, Barry Morton II; nine grandchildren, Jacob, Kevin, Brandon, Kaylee, McKenna, Charlie, Megan, Joey and Ryan; four granddogs, Bear, Louis, Gianni and Coco; three sisters, Dodie, Denni and Sue; one brother Bob; her former husband Barry Morton and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Betty Gibson and her mother-in-law Fern.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 1:00pm until the time of the memorial service at 4:00 pm at Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd. (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville.  Rev. Jim Hurst will officiate.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
