Marsha L Mace

Marsha L. Mace (nee Homsey), 70, of North Ridgeville, passed away unexpectedly on Friday March 2, 2018 at St. John Medical Center in Westlake.  She was born November 13, 1947 in Youngstown.  Mrs. Mace had resided in North Ridgeville for over 40 years.  She was retired from Lorain County Community College.  She also served as a volunteer at North Ridgeville Community Care for many years and was a social member of VFW Post #9871 in North Ridgeville.  Marsha was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and she was very dedicated to her family.  She also enjoyed arts & crafts and sewing.  She is survived by; her husband of 48 years, Steven; one daughter, Geri-Lynn Belcher (Bob) of Manhattan, IL; one son, Steven Mace Jr. (Cheri) of North Ridgeville; four grandchildren, Kendall, Christina, Maggie Mae and Dylan; and by two brothers, William Homsey of Berea and Joseph Homsey of Brook Park.  She was preceded in death by; her parents, Joseph and Doris (nee Amon) Homsey; and by her sister, Donna Jean Homsey.   A private committal service for the family will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to North Ridgeville Community Care.  Liston Funeral Home, North Ridgeville, is serving the family
