Michael L. Kisner, 55, of North Ridgeville, passed away Thursday June 7, 2018 at University Hospital in Cleveland following a long illness. Michael was born in Cleveland on August 24, 1962 and had resided in North Ridgeville for most of his life. Michael was formerly employed as a field worker for the Catholic Diocese Cemetery Association in Cleveland for 25 years. He attended Christian Soldier’s Apostolic Church in North Ridgeville. Michael enjoyed going to flea markets, watching old movies, drawing, assembling and painting model cars and his dogs. He is survived by; his wife of 25 years, Diana (nee Scarvelli); his mother, Rev. Patty Kisner (nee Gillespie) of North Ridgeville; two sisters, Janet Smith (Stephen) of St. Augustine, FL, and Lori Scandlan (Dave) of Cleveland; four brothers, Theron A. Kisner Jr. of Fairmont WV, Ronnie Kisner (Michelle) of Carlisle Township, Kim Kisner (Kristi) of Lorain and Jason Kisner (Alanna) of Parma; and by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by; his father, Theron A. Kisner Sr. in 1992 and by a cousin, Jeff Bresock. The family will receive friends on Tuesday June 12, 2018 from 11am until the time of the funeral service at 1pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville. Michael’s uncle, Rev. Chris Gillespie from West Virginia, will officiate the service. Burial will be at Ridgeville Cemetery in North Ridgeville.
