Patty “Jane” Kisner (nee Gillespie) 80, of North Ridgeville, passed away after a long battle with cancer, surrounded by her family on May 4, 2019 at her home. She was born on June 15, 1938 in Morgantown, West Virginia and was a 1956 graduate Morgantown High School. She was a long-time resident of North Ridgeville, where she founded the Christian Soldier Apostolic Church in 1987 and taught at the Christian Soldier Academy until 2005. Jane loved the arts, she was a photographer, an artist, and a musician, playing the organ, piano, and accordion. She also enjoyed baking with her children. Jane was a member of the PAJC, and the Apostolic Holiness Fellowship of Jesus Christ. She is Survived by: six children; Theron Kisner Jr., Janet Smith (Stephen), Ronnie Kisner Sr. (Michelle), Lori Scandlan (David), Kim Kisner (Kristi), and Jason Kisner (Alanna); nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; five brothers; and by two sisters. She was preceded in death by: her husband of 36 years Theron Kisner; her son, Michael Kisner (Diane); herparents, Kermit and Olive Ann (nee Brewer) Gillespie; one brother; and by three sisters. The family welcomes friends to join them on Wednesday May 8, 2019 from 4pm until 7pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville, and on Friday May 10, 2019 from 4pm until 8pm at the Fred L. Jenkins Funeral Home, 10 South High St., Morgantown, West Virginia, 26501. The funeral Service will be Saturday May 11, 2019 at 10:30am at Apostolic Christian Temple (AHFJC), 464 Viola Rd, Fairmont, West Virginia. Her brother, Rev. Leonard Chris Gillespie will officiate. Burial will be at Beverly Hills Memorial Park in Morgantown.
