Robbie L. Willis (nee Schnur), 71, a life-long resident of Elyria, passed unexpectedly on Thursday January 9, 2020 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center. She was born July 1, 1948 in Elyria and graduated from Elyria High School in 1966. Robbie retired from Evergreen Packaging in Olmsted Falls after 30 years of service and that is where she met her beloved husband. Robbie loved life and especially her family, her friends and her dog, Josie. She enjoyed baking, exercising, and thrift shopping. Robbie Willis is survived by: Her husband of 40 wonderful, fun-filled years, Barry; two sons, Danny Gill and Cary Gill (Shannon); her grandchildren, Janelle Bilyeu, Mady Gill and Zac Gill; four great-grandchildren, Allison, Bella, Bentley and Rozalyn Bilyeu; her brother, Tony Schnur (Isabelle); her sister, Dawn Younce; and by many other cousins, friends, nieces, nephews and her dog, Josie. She was preceded in death by: Her parents, Robert Schnur and Genevieve Hall; and by one brother, Ron Schnur. The family welcomes friends to join them on Monday January 20, 2020 for a memorial gathering from 11am to 1pm with the memorial service beginning at 1pm and a later memorial gathering beginning at 5pm until 7pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville. Rev. Tom Joyce, pastor of Fields United Methodist Church in North Ridgeville, will officiate the memorial service.
