Stanley S. Schall Jr., 76, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Sunday July 21, 2019 at the North Ridge Health Center, in North Ridgeville, surrounded by family. He was born May 7, 1943 in Cleveland and had been a long-time resident of Berea and North Ridgeville. Stanley graduated from Parma High School in 1961. Stan worked as a police officer in South Amherst and he was also employed as a member of the police force at Key Bank. He was a member of Fields United Methodist Church in North Ridgeville. He also belonged to various clubs, including: the Huron FOP, Amateur Radio, the Blue Knights, and volunteered for Hand Me Down Dobermans. Stanley also enjoyed restoring classic cars and motorcycles. He is survived by; his wife of 7 months, Laura Kendrick; two children, Steven Schall (Sharon), and Staci Schall; five grandchildren, Gregory, Autumn, Summer, Lexi, and Zoie; his niece Mariann Gregg and her son, Christian; his nephew, Marty Gregg (Carlene and her son Dan). Stanley was preceded by; his first wife, Diane Schall in 2011; his parents Stanley and Helen (nee Tryda) Schall; and by his sister, Betty Gregg. The family welcomes friends to join them on Tuesday July 30, 2019 from 11am to 12pm with the service beginning at 12pm at the Fields United Methodist Church, 34077 Lorain Rd, North Ridgeville. Dr. Tom Joyce, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be at Fields Cemetery in North Ridgeville. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Friendship Animal Protective League of Lorain County.
