Trudy G (Rogers) Matjasic

Trudy Matjasic (nee Rogers), 63, of North Ridgeville, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017.  Trudy was born March 18, 1954 in Cleveland.  She resided in North Ridgeville for the past 32 years after growing up in Olmsted Township.  Trudy loved animals and spent her free time taking care of cats.  She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Mathew Matjasic; two daughters, Crystal Matjasic (Matthew Messer), of Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, and Holly Matjasic of Olmsted Township; siblings Ginger Fosdick and Tammy Hausmann (Michael); four nieces, Amanda Michalson, Kimberly Percival, Angela Council and Samantha Fosdick; and one nephew, Steven Fosdick;  great-niece Amelia Percival and great-nephew Nicholas Council.  She was preceded in death by her mother Mitzi Rogers; her father Dick Rogers and sister Debra Rushe.  Private services were held at Ascension Lutheran Church in North Olmsted.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Lorain County Dog Kennel or Ames Family Hospice House of Westlake.
