William J. Ciszczon, 68, of North Ridgeville, passed away unexpectedly Monday May 28, 2018 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland. He was born May 26, 1950 in East Cleveland. Mr. Ciszczon had resided in North Ridgeville for 27 years and was formerly a resident of Westlake. He received his Bachelor’s and Juris Doctor degrees from Cleveland State University and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University. Mr. Ciszczon was currently the Vice President of Risk and Compliance at UCFS in Westlake, where he’d been employed for 38 years. He enjoyed cooking, traveling, reading, investing and gardening. Mr. Ciszczon is survived by; his wife of 35 years, Toshiko (nee Kobayashi); one daughter, Erika Ciszczon of Cleveland; one son, Andrew Ciszczon (Lauren) of North Ridgeville; two grandson, Greyson and Hudson; his father, Stanley Ciszczon of Willoughby Hills; two sisters, Kathy Ciszczon of Painesville and Carolyn Anderson of Willoughby Hills; and by one brother, David Ciszczon (Monica) of Concord. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Ciszczon (nee Throm). The family will receive friends on Saturday June 2, 2018 from 3 to 5pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to One of a Kind Pet Rescue, Spay and Neuter Clinic in Akron.
