William Joseph Maddocks

William “Bill” Maddocks Sr., 58, of Elyria, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017 in Elyria.  Bill was born in Cleveland July 18, 1958 and was an Elyria resident for the past thirty years.  He successfully ran his own construction companies for forty years.  Bill liked camping (especially making campfires) and travelling; he enjoyed music, sunsets and swimming.  He is survived by his son William Maddocks Jr of North Ridgeville; three grandchildren; four brothers, Roger (Linda) Maddocks of Alpharetta, GA, Richard (Lynn) Maddocks of North Olmsted, Robert Maddocks of Phoenix, AZ and Bruce Maddocks of Cleveland; many nieces and nephews; and his dear friend Jacqueline Lisi of Elyria.  A memorial service will take place Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd.
