Adrian W. "Abe" Shriver

Adrian W. “Abe” Shriver, 83, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Saturday October 31, 2020 at St. John Medical Center in Westlake following a short illness.  He was born March 16, 1937 in Wooster.  Mr. Shriver was a graduate of Marietta High School in Marietta and had resided in North Ridgeville since 1966.  He was a retired sheet metal worker and was a co-owner of Northern Ohio Roofing and Sheet Metal in Elyria.  He had many interests including antique cars but most important to him was his family.  Adrian W. Shriver is survived by: one son, Bret Shriver (Susan Burton) of North Ridgeville; five grandchildren, Brad, Katie, Kasey, John (Nikki) and Mike; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Jim Shriver of Grafton; a daughter-in-law, Diane Shriver of Elyria Township; and by many nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was preceded in death by: his wife of 60 years, Shirley “Jean” Shriver; two sons, Kevin and Brian Shriver; a brother, Walt Shriver; and by a sister, Nadine Kline.  The family will receive friends on Thursday November 5, 2020 from 6-8pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville.  The Funeral Service will be Friday November 6, 2020 at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Brian Gardiner officiating.  Entombment will be in the mausoleum at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon.
