Alice (Pontes) Mueller

Alice Mueller (nee Pontes), 94, passed away Saturday April 11, 2026 at Brookdale Westlake Village in Westlake.  She was born June 30, 1931 in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Alice lived in Northeast Ohio for over 50 years, residing in Elyria and Brook Park.  She worked at the former Joseph & Feiss Company in Cleveland, and then for many years she worked along with her late husband for Center Cleaning.  Alice was a faithful member for many years of Mary Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church in Brook Park, and an active member of the Brook Park Senior Center.  Alice Mueller is survived by: three sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Mueller of Avon, Liz Gallagher-Harvey of Corpus Christi, TX, and Rebecca Mueller of Westlake; her brother-in-law, Shawn Mueller of Westlake; many nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and great nephews.  She was preceded in death by: her husband, James D. Mueller in 2021; one sister, Cecelia Pontes; six brothers, Louis, George, James, John, Joseph, and Edward Pontes; and two brothers-in-law, Roark Gallagher and Kerry S. Mueller.  A private interment service will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, where Alice will be laid to rest with her Late Husband, James.
