Ana Eva Barbosa

Ana Eva Barbosa, 78, a long-time resident of Lorain, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, at O’Neill Health Care North Ridgeville, on Thursday, February 15, 2024. She was born November 26, 1945, in Dorado, Puerto Rico. Ana worked as a teachers aid in Puerto Rico for many years before moving to Ohio. She was very talented at gardening, winning many awards for her garden scapes and beautiful flowers. Ana also enjoyed thrifting, crossword puzzles, watching her soap operas, mystery novels, and reading her Bible every day. She is survived by her four children, Osiris Ortiz (Shawna), Ovilsi Pihlblad (Mark), Omyra Ortiz (Sammy), and Osel Ortiz (Tiffany); many grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Ana was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Josefa Barbosa. A private family service will be held. Ana will be laid to rest at Ridgeville Cemetery, where a private family committal service will be held. Pastor Dave Swartz will officiate.
