Annemarie (Toth) Szatloczki

Annemarie Szatloczki (nee Toth) 74, of Girard, formerly of North Ridgeville, passed away surrounded by her loved ones, on Friday March 14, 2025 at Ames Family Hospice in Westlake.  Annemarie was born on October 27, 1950 in Nice, France and immigrated with her family to the United States at age 12.  She was raised in Lakewood, was a graduate of Lakewood High School, and then graduated from the nursing program at Cleveland State University.  Annemarie worked as a surgical nurse at Fairview Hospital in Cleveland for over 20 years and retired in 2007.  She was proud of her Hungarian heritage and culture.  Annemarie’s greatest joy was her beloved grandchildren and she made a lasting impact on all of their lives.  She is survived by; her husband of 50 years, John; her daughter, Christina Matos (Luis) of Elyria; three grandchildren, Hayden, Grayson, and Natalia; one brother, John Toth of North Ridgeville; and several nieces and nephews.  Annemarie was preceded in death by; her parents, Julius and Anna (nee Laszlo) Toth; and two brothers, Julius and Zoltan Toth.  Private services will be held.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Friendship Animal Protective League of Lorain County.
