Barbara E. (Coley) Komlosy

Barbara E. Komlosy (nee Coley), 100, passed away Tuesday October 26, 2021 at the Avon Oaks Caring Community in Avon.  She was born November 2, 1920 in Lorain and was a graduate of Lorain High School.  She was a life-long resident of Lorain County and resided in Elyria for many years.  Mrs. Komlosy was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church in Elyria.  She was a former Brownie Leader.  She enjoyed antiquing, golfing, fishing, and playing Bridge.  She found great joy in spending time with her beloved family.  Barbara Komlosy is survived by: two daughters, Kendra Macko (Tom) of West Chester, Pennsylvania and Kyle Ralston (Don) of North Ridgeville; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by: her husband, Julius Komlosy in 2014; her mother, Grace Cartwright; her father, Lester Coley; her brother, Ronald Coley; two sisters, Virginia Cover and Jane Frederick; and by an infant brother, Leland Coley.  A private family graveside service will be held at Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst.  Pastor David Swartz will officiate.  Liston Funeral Home, North Ridgeville, is serving the family.
