Bernice O. (Moss) Dobbins

Bernice O. Dobbins (nee Moss), 86, of Grafton, passed away peacefully on Monday April 25, 2022 at Keystone Pointe in LaGrange.  She was born August 25, 1935 in Orton, West Virginia and was a resident of Grafton for many years.  Mrs. Dobbins worked as a Quality Inspector at Seaway Bolt in Columbia Station for over 30 years and retired in 1993.  She was a member of Midway Baptist Church in Elyria.  She enjoyed sewing, quilting and gardening.  Mrs. Dobbins was also very family oriented and enjoyed the time that she spent with her beloved family.  She is survived by: three daughters, Karen Nicholas (Bob) of Grafton, Linda Hardman (Nelson) of Grafton and Donna Engler (Eddie) of Wakeman; four grandchildren, Kristi Lowe, Shelly Rose, Benji Goodrich and Krystle Young; six great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; her sister, Hilda Rogers (Randy) of TN; one brother, Jimmy Moss (Janie) of WV; and a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Atha of WV.  She was preceded in death by: her husband, Benjamin “Ben” Dobbins in 2016; a granddaughter, Tammy Goodrich and a brother, Edgar Moss.  The family will receive friends on Thursday April 28, 2022 from 5 to 9pm at Midway Baptist Church, 41812 Griswold Road, Elyria.  The funeral service will be Friday April 29, 2022 at 10am at the church.  Pastor Rick Keesee will officiate.  Burial will be at River Road Cemetery in LaGrange Township.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Midway Baptist Church.  Liston Funeral Home, North Ridgeville, is serving the family.
