Carol Ann Pitzer

Carol Ann Pitzer (nee Ellison), 74, a life-long resident of Elyria, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 13, 2024, at her residence. She was born January 22, 1950, in Elyria. Carol enjoyed puzzles, diamond dotz painting, and crafts, especially painting ceramics. She is survived by her partner, Ronnie; four children, Jimmy (Dawn), Todd (Becky), David, and Angela (Jeff); eight grandchildren, Jimmy, Joshua, Katie, Jeffrey, Jacob, Austin, Kaleb, and Kamden; three great grandchildren; her sister, Mary Sue; her brother, George; and many nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Ellison; her sister, Judy Rains; and her brother, Gary Ellison. The family welcomes friends to join them on Friday, May 24, 2024, from 10:30am to 12:30pm, with the memorial service beginning at 12:30pm, at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville. Pastor Dave Swartz will officiate. Carol will be laid to at Resthaven Memory Gardens, in Avon, following the service. In memory of Carol, and her love for bright colors, the family encourages visitors to wear bright colors.
