Cathryn Maude Harry

Cathryn Maude Harry (nee Kulow) 85, a resident of Berea, passed away peacefully at the Thomas P. Perciak Family Residential Hospice in Strongsville on Friday July 4, 2025. She was born on July 15, 1939 in Cleveland, grew up in Parma Heights, and resided in Brook Park for 40 years. Cathryn was not only the matriarch of her family, but she was also the heart and soul.  She was a free spirit-offering her love, kindness, generosity, and contagious laughter to those who knew her.  She was an avid sports fan and especially loved cheering on the Cleveland Browns and the Indians. She enjoyed attending plays, going to Vegas, and was an impressive bingo player. Cathryn is survived by her five children, David Zaghet (the late Georgann), Lisa Zaghet, William Link, James Harry (Kathy), and Melissa Yager (Jason); 10 grandchildren, Nicole Iannaggi (Adam), Christina Baron (Greg), David Zaghet, Alycia Link (Tawfiq), William Link, Kate Yager, Jimmy Harry, Noah Yager, Kimberly Yager, and Ella Harry; six great grandchildren, Taylor, Owen, Aaron, Emery, Micah, and Roman; her brother, Wayne Kulow (Terri); her Sister-in-law, June Kulow; many nieces and nephews; and she remained close with Bridget Bolin, the mother of two of her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 27 years, Joseph Harry; her daughter, Renee Zaghet; and her brother Kenneth Kulow. The family welcomes friends to join them on Friday July 18, 2025 from 10am to 12pm, followed by a Memorial Service at 12pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Cathryn will be laid to rest with her husband at Sunset Memorial Park in North Olmsted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The City Mission.
