Charles Thomas Broome Sr.

Charles Thomas Broome, 63, of Trinity, Alabama, passed away Friday October 1, 2021 at Decatur Morgan Hospital in Decatur, Alabama, following a short illness.  He was born November 2, 1957 in New London.  Charles was raised in Wellington and was a graduate of Wellington High School.  He was a veteran and served in the US Marine Corp.  Charles was employed in the shipping and receiving department at a steel mill in Huntsville, Alabama.  Charles Thomas Broome is survived by: two sons, Charles Thomas Broome II and Lynn Edward Broome; his father, Thomas Broome of Elyria; and two sisters, Chrystal Jones and Melissa Bischoff.  He was preceded in death by: his wife, Jeanne Marie Broome on September 27, 2021; and his mother, Mary Jo Broome.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday November 12, 2021 at 11am at Village Church of Lincolnshire, 201 Riverwoods Rd., Lake Forest, Illinois (60045).  Burial with full military honors will be held on November 12 at 1pm at Fort Sheridan National Cemetery in Lake Forest.
