Chelsie Renee Haywood, 34, passed away peacefully at the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, and began her journey into Gods loving arms on Friday May 23, 2025. She was born September 17, 1990, in Elyria. Chelsie was a graduate of Elyria High School. She later attended Rapheal's School of Beauty in North Olmsted. Chelsie loved to experiment on friends and family by doing their hair, makeup and nails. She enjoyed researching government conspiracy theories and coverups, attending the many Cleveland Cavs games each season with her Stepfather, and best friend, Don, but above all, Chelsie loved being a mother. Though Chelsie’s life may have been short, she touched the hearts of many. She is survived by three children, Dezirae Skye Schoger, Michael J. Schoger, II and Regan Skye Partin; her mother, Joyce Corn; her stepfather, Donald W. Corn; her stepmother, Rhonda Renee Haywood; her brother, Kyle D. Corn; her sister, Jordan P. Haywood; her special aunts, Rhonda “Ra-Ra” Corn, and Joyce Jirak; her two cousin, Erin Shriver, Samantha Cieszynski; and many other loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Chelsie was preceded in death by her father, Brian C. Haywood; her grandmothers, Brenda M. Cieszynski, Sandra J. Haywood and Frannie M. Adams; her grandfathers, Henry Cieszynski and Donald Corn; her aunt Wendy Haywood-Bailey; and many other loving family members waiting to greet Chelsie at Heaven’s Gate. The family welcomes friends to join them on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 12pm to 2pm, with the service beginning at 2pm, at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Chaplain Jill Bleisath will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Friendship Animal Protective League of Lorain County. The Family would like to request that in honor of Chelsie, please hug your children and loved ones every day, and remind them that they are loved.
