Dale R. Janovsky, 69, of Cleveland, passed away at his residence on February 27, 2026. He was born December 31, 1956 in Cleveland and was a graduate of Normandy High School in Parma. He was a career veteran and served in US Airforce from 1976-1994, working in AWAX Communications. Dale also worked as a freelance videographer. He enjoyed collecting knives, tropical fish, birdwatching, and photography. Dale Janovsky is survived by: his siblings, Doreen Madere (Mark) of North Ridgeville, and Timothy Janovsky of Cleveland; two nieces, Jacqueline Madere, and Danielle Filipkowski (Jon); a great-nephew, Elden; two great-nieces, Edith and Etta; his step-mother, Patricia Janovsky; two step-brothers, John Frank (Margie) and Troy Frank (Diane); and his best friends, Mike Roth and Al Bobincheck. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Geza Janovsky and Carol Janovsky (nee Menn); and his step-sister, Brenda Frank. A private interment service will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.
