David J Lipscomb, 65, a long-time resident of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully following complications from a long illness on Sunday, February 11, 2023, at the Avon Hospital at Richard E. Jacobs. He was born March 20, 1958, in Cleveland. David had a strong work ethic and retired from UPS after 20 years of service. He was an outdoorsman, enjoying camping, hunting, and fishing. David was a dedicated family man who also loved his fur babies. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Claudia (Nee Archacki); six siblings, Edward, Robert, Roberta, Lucy, Denise, and Marge (David); four nephews, Louis (Amber), Mark, Matthew (Jenne), and Frank; five nieces, Megan, Southern, Joanna, Natalie, and Victoria; seven great nieces and nephews; Erik, Cooper, Analise, Isaac, Jordan, Alyssa, and Isabella. David was preceded in death by two siblings, Patricia, and Tammy; his great niece, Carolena; and by his brother-in-law, Tom. The family welcomes friends to join them on Monday, February 19, 2024, for a memorial visitation from 5pm to 7pm at he Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville. A memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 10 am at St. Peter Catholic Church, in North Ridgeville. Rev. Isidore Munishi will celebrate the mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society
