David R. Muse

David R. Muse, 75, of North Ridgeville, passed away Saturday May 2, 2026 at UH Elyria Medical Center in Elyria.  He was born June 3, 1950 in Lakewood and was a life-long resident of the greater Cleveland area.  Dave was a retired corrections officer and a Marine Corps veteran. He liked feeding the birds, squirrels and other wildlife, He also loved music and enjoyed playing in the band “Little Boy and the Blues Giants” with his best friend Jim Uhler. Dave was a kind and loving husband and father.  He is survived by his wife Amy (nee Schillace); three sons, David, Benjamin and Mark Muse; his daughter Bridgett Krasnicki; three grandchildren, Brittany, Cassie and John; three great grandchildren Adley, Scarlett and Josie; his brother Larry Muse; and his sister Karen Abeler.  Dave also leaves behind his cherished and mischievous dog Buddy, who provided him with comfort, companionship and deep affection.  A family memorial gathering is being planned for the near future. Memorial contributions are suggested to either your local animal shelter or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
