David C. Zubricky, 90, of Rocky River, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday March 6, 2025 at his residence. He was born February 14, 1935 in Cleveland and was a graduate of Rocky River High School. Dave received his degree in mechanical engineering from Fenn College in Cleveland and he served in the US Naval Reserves from 1953-1961. He retired from Bowman Distribution Barnes Group in Cleveland, where he was the Products Manager, in 2000. Prior to that, he worked for over 25 years in the marketing department at Baker Material Handling in Cleveland. David was a faithful member of Abram Creek Baptist Church in Brook Park. He enjoyed cars, traveling with his late wife, visiting Amish Country, golfing, and skiing. Dave was also an avid fan of the Cleveland sports teams. He is survived by: his son, David J. Zubricky (Candace, MD); his daughter, Ann Zubricky-Kocur (the late Michael); four grandchildren, Ryan, MD (Pallavi, MD), Kyle, and Jake Zubricky, and Matthew Kocur; his brother, Fr. Jerome Zubricky (Mary); and his sister, Tina Carter (Paul). He was preceded in death by: his wife, Molly (nee Knight) in 2011; his mother, Anna Zubricky (nee Kasper), and his father and step mother, Joseph and Mary (nee Kasper) Zubricky. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 11am until the time of the funeral service at 1pm at Abram Creek Baptist Church, 18664 Sheldon Road, Brook Park. Pastor James Beight will officiate the service. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in North Olmsted following the service. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to OutRun Ovarian Cancer, oroc.org.
