Dennis M. Grodzicki

Dennis M. Grodzicki, 61, of North Ridgeville, passed away following a short illness on Saturday August 12, 2023 at St. John Medical Center in Westlake.  He was born March 18, 1962 in St. Louis, Missouri.  Dennis had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 2006.  He was employed for the past 17 and a half years at Home Depot in Avon as an MET Supervisor.  While in high school, Dennis was an active member of the KAHOK Dancers (a Native American dance group).  He enjoyed bowling and he loved watching his grandchildren’s sporting events.  Dennis M. Grodzicki is survived by: his beloved wife of many years, Chloie (nee Clouse); his daughter, Anna Long (Chris) of Collinsville,Il; four sons, Michael Jett (Bryanna) of North Ridgeville, Matthew Jett (Samantha) of Elyria, Timothy Jett of North Ridgeville; and Robert Grodzicki (Samantha) of Wood River, Il; 12 grandchildren, Natalie, Damien, Alexis, Briar, Dillon, McKenzie, Peyton, Andrea, Cooper, Harper, Merik and Theo; his great-granddaughter, Vanessa; his mother, Patricia Grodzicki (nee Thompson) of Collinsville, Il; and his sister, Shawn Heinlein (Randy) of Millstadt, Il.  Dennis was preceded in death by: his father, Joseph Grodzicki; his daughter, Kaitlyn Grodzicki; his grandson, Derrik Jett; and his grandmother, Vera Thompson.  Dennis’ family invites friends and extended family members to join them for a celebration of his life on Sunday August 27, 2023 from 1 to 5pm at VFW Post #9340, 25742 Royalton Rd., (Route 82) in Columbia Station.
