Diana L. (Hudson) Elliott

Diana L. Elliott (nee Hudson) 66, of North Olmsted, passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday October 11, 2022 with her family by her side. Diana was born August 21, 1956 in Cincinnati. She met her best friend and loving husband of 45 years, Don at Mt. Washington Baptist Church in Cincinnati. She attended Georgetown College in Georgetown, KY.   Diana was gifted by God and began sharing her zest for life through helping others pursue health and fitness.  She worked for many years as a personal trainer and health and fitness coach at the Gemini Center in Fairview Park.  Her favorite parts of her career were teaching fitness classes to special needs students through the S.O.A.R. Organization and teaching the Silver Sneakers classes at the Fairview Park Senior Center and offering classes on cooking that would provide  healthy meal options to all her clients.  Diana’s presence and delicious cooking will be missed by all her family and friends.  Diana was also a cancer survivor and proactive in helping raise funds for cancer awareness and research.  Diana was a believer in Jesus Christ and trusted her Savior throughout her journey with cancer and often shared her faith in Him with others.  She attended North Olmsted Evangelical Friends Church.  She was also associated with:  IPFA (International Physical Fitness Association), ESA and ASFA.  Diana is survived by: her husband of 45 years, Donald; her mother, Barbara A. Hudson of Cincinnati; two sisters, Debra Herrmann (Michael) of  Anderson, IN and Darlena Carter (David) of Amelia, OH; five nieces, Maria LeMond (Korey) Heather Vance (Colin),  Alyssa, Lindsay and Julia Carter; and six great nieces and nephews, Evelyn, James, Jude, Joshua, Ezekiel and Eliza. She was preceded in death by her beloved father, George E. Hudson 2020. The family will receive friends on Sunday October 16, 2022 from 3 to 5pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 5 pm.  Michael and Debra Herrmann will officiate the service. The burial will take place on Monday at Butternut Ridge Cemetery in North Olmsted.  The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Alexandria First Church of the Nazarene 1401 S. Harrison Street, Alexandria, IN 46011 (please put Nazarene Missions International on the check memo line).
