Dolores E. (Bates) Green

Dolores E. Green (nee Bates), 91, of North Ridgeville and a former resident of Hinckley, passed away peacefully on Saturday June 12, 2020 in Westlake.  Mrs. Green was born on March 25, 1930 in Cleveland.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who always had a positive, friendly spirit.  She was an avid fan of the Indians, Ohio State and Browns.  Dolores Green is survived by: two daughters, Holly Ramsey (William) and Laurel Wolan (Jack); one son, Mark Green (Debbie); nine grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by; her husband, Eddie in 2018; and her parents, Elmer and LaVerne (nee Sollberger) Bates.  A Celebration-of-Life Service will be held on Saturday June 19, 2021 at 1:30pm at Grace Church, 7393 Pearl Road, Middleburg Heights, with refreshments to follow.  Rev. Dr. Austin Shaw will officiate.  Interment will be with her husband at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Salvation Army, 4196 Center Rd., Brunswick, OH 44212.
