Donald S. Damm

Donald “Don” Damm, 54, of Elyria, went to be with his Savior on Friday June 14, 2019 following a short illness.  Don was born on February 20, 1965 in Lakewood and resided in Elyria for the past 25 years.  Don loved all things outdoors, especially fishing and boating.  He spent time on Lake Erie but also loved to go to Canada to a cabin where he could spend time fishing and boating. Don was a Boy Scout in his youth.  He attended New Community Baptist Church in North Ridgeville.

Don is survived by his wife of 24 years Eileen (nee Mihalic); one daughter, Gabbie and two sons, Seth and Toby, all of Elyria; three sisters, Catherine Hartman (John), Cynthia Maher (Jim) and Rachel St. Sauver (Mark); one brother, Kenneth Damm (Susan) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Carol (nee Van Valkenburg) Damm and one brother, Gregory Damm. 

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 18, 2019 from 3-7pm at Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd. (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville.  Funeral services will be Wednesday June 19, 2019 at 11:00am at the funeral home.  Pastor Brian Gardiner, pastor of New Community Baptist Church, will officiate.
