Donald R. Kidwell

Donald R. Kidwell, 61, a longtime resident of Oberlin, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 25, 2024, at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital. He was born June 11, 1963, in Mansfield, Ohio. Donald worked in manufacturing for 36 years before retiring. He enjoyed fishing, boating, tinkering, music, and helping with concerts for charity. Donald is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Michelle; four children, Brittany, Reanna (Dan), Jacqualine, and Elizabeth; five grandchildren, Everly, Brantley, Braelynn, Braxsley, and Braiysen; his brother, David; his niece Tana; his great niece, Mariah; and his great nephew, Devyn. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Nancy; and his nephew Jessy. The family welcomes friends to join them on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from 5pm to 7pm, with the service beginning at 7pm, at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Pastor Dave Swartz will officiate. The inurnment will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, at New Russia Township Cemetery, in Oberlin, at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
