Donald J. Regula Sr.

Donald J. Regula Sr., 79, of North Ridgeville, passed away Saturday September 18, 2021 at the Northridge Health Center in North Ridgeville following complications from the Corona-19 Virus.  He was born June 7, 1942 in Cleveland and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for many years.  Donald worked as a mechanic at the Ford Motor Company in Brook Park for 23 years and retired in 1992.  He enjoyed playing the guitar, going to the former Geauga Lake Amusement Park, bowling, fishing, going to the movies and dancing.  Donald Regula is survived by: his wife of 57 and a half years, Roseann (nee Cernanec); three sons, Ronald (Annette) of Mooresville, NC, Donald Jr. and Joel, both of North Ridgeville; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren (and two more on the way!); his sister, Carol Siedlecki of Strongsville; his sister-in-law, Frances Korpusik of Brunswick; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by: his parents, Sylvester and Jean (nee Chudzinski) Regula; and two brothers, Ken and Frank Korpusik.  The family will receive friends on Friday October 8, 2021 from 4 to 7pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 9, 2021 at 11am at the funeral home with Rev. Robert Franco, Pastor of St. Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville, officiating.
