Donna F (Lynn) Shafer

Donna F. Shafer (nee Lynn), 70, of Vermillion, passed away on Wednesday March 17, 2021 at Mercy New Life Hospice in Lorain following a long-term illness. She was born on May 5, 1950 in Lorain. Donna was a longtime resident of Lorain County, and had also lived in New Braunfels, Texas. Donna graduated from Brookside High School in 1968. She worked for PPG Industries for 23 years before retiring. Donna enjoyed: traveling, baking, gardening, cardinals, and butterflies. She is survived by: her husband of 52 years, Timothy Shafer, two children, Timothy (Joni) Shafer of Texas, and Debra Mauldin of Texas; five grandchildren, Taylor Wendell, Torry Mauldin, J.W. Shafer, Jami Shafer, and Andrew Shafer; and four siblings, James, Diane, Karen, and Kathy.
