Doris Elizabeth (Mitchell) Stec

Doris E. Stec (nee Mitchell), 93, passed away Friday March 8, 2024 at Paramount Senior Living in Middleburg Heights.  She was born March 15, 1930 in Emeigh, Pennsylvania and was a graduate of Clymer Pennsylvania High School. Mrs. Stec had resided in North Ridgeville for many years and previously lived in Cleveland.  She was a homemaker and also worked in customer service at the former Fisher’s Big Wheel store in North Ridgeville.  She enjoyed cooking and quilting.  Doris Stec is survived by: two sons, William M. Stec (Debbie) of Columbia Station and Matthew P. Stec (Jen) of Rockland, MA; a daughter-in-law, Ellen Stec of Maryville, TN; six grandchildren, Dustin Stec, Shannon Johnson, Courtney Feldman, Ryan Stec, Kyle Stec, and Jordan Stec; and six great-grandchildren including, Taylor Stec, Grayson Stec, Casey Johnson, and Leia Johnson.  She was preceded in death by: her husband, Steve Stec in 2010; two sons, Steve T. Stec in 2006 and Gerald L. Stec in 1976; six brothers, and one sister.  A private family gathering was held.
