Dorothy J. (Ramsey) Grega

It is with sadness that the Grega family announces the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Dorothy J. Grega (nee Ramsey), on Wednesday December 2, 2020 at The Woods on French Creek in Avon.  She was born December 20, 1932 in Mansfield, Ohio and resided in North Ridgeville for most of her life.  Dorothy was active, along with her husband Raymond, with the North Ridgeville High School Boosters and Bingo.  She and Raymond stayed active with these groups long after their sons had graduated from high school.  She was kind to all who knew her and generous to her many interests.  Her grandchildren, John and Amber, were the loves of her life!  Dorothy J. Grega is survived by: her husband of 68 years, Raymond; three sons, Michael L. Grega (Maria) of Elyria, Jeffrey R. Grega (Lucy Carrion) of North Ridgeville, and Randy S. Grega (Ginnie) of Elyria; her grandson, John Grega (Heather Robertson) of Denver, CO; and her granddaughter, Amber Mills (Rob) of North Olmsted. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Louis and Ruth Ramsey; and sisters, Lillie Belle Isaac, Lola May Milner, Georgia Austin and Mary Ramsey. A private visitation and funeral service will be held at Liston Funeral Home, North Ridgeville.  Rev. Chuck Behrens will officiate the service.  Burial will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon.  The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Second Harvest Food Bank, 5510 Baumhart Rd., Lorain, OH 44053.
