Dorothy J Rimmer

Dorothy J Rimmer (nee Rochelle), 85, of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday November 4, 2019 at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital in Cleveland. She was born June 13, 1934 in Bradford Tennessee. Dorothy was a former resident of Cleveland and a long-time resident of North Ridgeville. She has been a member of Sugar Ridge Baptist Church for 25 years and loved participating in various church events. Dorothy’s family was her life, she loved spending time with her children and all her grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to garage sales, karaoke, and playing piano. She is survived by: four children; Sherrian Pulwer (Larry), Debbie Bowers (Jeff), Sonja Cheh (Bill), and Vince Rimmer (Gail); 10 grandchildren, Dana (Larry), Kim (Danette), Bill (Amanda), Vince (Toni), Billy (Laural), Heather (Gabe), Steven, Shawn (Jen), Liza (Chuck), and Matt (Teresa); 20 great grandchildren; one sister, Carol (Al); many nieces and nephews; her dog, Tiki; and by her bird, Peppi. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Herbert; two grandsons, Vince and Joey; three sibblings, Betty, Linda, and William; and by her parents, Frank and Stella Rochelle. The family welcomes friends to join them on Friday November 8, 2019 from 5 to 9pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville. the Funeral Service will be Saturday November 9, 2019 at 10am at the funeral home. Pastor Bill Shomo will officiate. Burial will be at Ridgeville Cemetery in North Ridgeville.
