Eduardo "Eddie" Quiñones, 50, passed into eternity the morning of January 15, 2022.
Eduardo, was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on July 21, 1971. He is survived by his parents, Margarita Quiñones and Espiridion Quiñones Jr.; his two siblings, brother, Mario Andres Quiñones, wife, Kyndle Quiñones, and sister, Alexandria Buchanan, husband, Robert Buchanan; three nephews: Myles, Robert & Cristiano and one niece, Kylen all of which he adored; numerous Aunts, Uncles and extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 14 years Sabrina Miller-Quiñones; and his grandparents, Jacinto Natal and Elba Garcia, Espiridion Quiñones Sr. and Benita Lugo.
Eddie was a fun-loving and caring person who always had a big smile on his face and a belly laugh that echoed throughout. He attended elementary school in Cleveland, OH, and moved to North Ridgeville in 1977, graduating from North Ridgeville High School in 1989. Eddie was an avid member of the choir and loved singing at karaoke nights with friends.
In 2006, Eddie married the love of his life Sabrina Miller and quickly began a union full of laughter and joy with their two dogs, Samson and Prince. Despite losing his eyesight in his mid 30s, Eddie never lost sight of having a big heart and joy of living.
Eddie was a train enthusiast and enjoyed model railroading. He overcame numerous obstacles from being a Type I Diabetic at the age of 4 to being a double organ transplant recipient. This never stopped his love of music, football, movies, and traveling to the beach. He will never be forgotten, and will forever remain in our hearts.
A small memorial gathering is being held Friday, January 28th from 2-4 PM with a memorial service starting at 4 PM. We ask that you come masked regardless of vaccination status. A larger Celebration of Life will be held later this summer. In lieu of flowers, please donate to www.donatelife.net/give-to-dla/ or help the family directly via Venmo @Mario-Quinones-10. We’d like to thank the transplant team, all of the nurses and doctors at University Hospital, who were part of Eddie’s care over the years.
