Edward L. Brisbin Sr. 76, a resident of Grafton, passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, December 2, 2024. He was born November 28, 1948, in Sewickley, Pennsylvania. Edward worked as a general manager for TransCore for 32 years before retiring. He was a member and treasurer of the Middleburg Heights Rotary Club. Edward loved traveling, especially out west, and enjoyed camping. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Carol Brisbin (nee Williams); two sons, Edward Brisbin Jr. (Sandy), and Wade Brisbin (Ashley Driscoll); five grandchildren; his sister Eleanor Benedict; and many nieces and nephews. Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Wilma Brisbin; and five siblings, Charles Brisbin, Betty Forsythe, Charlotte Wells, Irene Carver, and Earl Brisbin. The family welcomes friends to join them on Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 6pm to 8pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville. The funeral service will be Friday, December 6, 2024, at 11am at the funeral home. Edward will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon following the service. Pastor William Baker of LaPorte United Methodist Church will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve.
