Elaine R. Ryant

Elaine R. Ryant (nee Koachway) 74, passed away peacefully at her residence in Guymon, Oklahoma, on Tuesday, October 18, 2022. She was born August 9, 1948, in Cleveland. Elaine was an elementary school teacher for Avon City Schools, and later retired from Triway Local Schools in Wooster. She attended First Baptist Church of Guyman and formerly attended Cornerstone Bible Fellowship in North Ridgeville. Elaine followed Christ in all aspects of her life. She enjoyed tending to her farm, gardening, and taking care of her horses, and dogs. Elaine is survived by her brother, Charlie Koachway (Rose); her two nephews, and niece. She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bud”; her parents, Arlan and Ruth (nee Doskocil) Koachway; and her brother, Arlan “Butch” Koachway. The family welcomes friends to join them on Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 11am to 12pm, with the service beginning at 12pm, at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville. Burial will be held Saturday, October 29, 2022, at 1pm, at Sunset Memorial Park in North Olmsted. Rev. Glenn Dunn will officiate.
